This page lists every kind of ride the desk reserves for airport car service in Raleigh and the rest of the Triangle. Each one starts or ends at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on the day of your flight. Pick the ride that fits, send a request, and we answer with a fixed rate, a vehicle class and a pickup time before any reservation is made.
Pickups after you land
The car company follows the real landing time by flight number, waits in the commercial lot, and meets you at your terminal's pickup zone.
Rides to your departure
We set the door time from measured drive minutes plus a traffic allowance, then the car drops you at your terminal's departures curb.
Early morning departures
Flights leaving before sunrise still get a reserved car at your door, at the same fixed rate as any daytime hour.
Vans for larger groups
Families and work teams of up to 10 riders ride together, with room for up to 10 checked bags in one van.
Out and back together
Reserve the ride to RDU and the ride home in one request; the rate is simply two one-way figures added together.
Included in every fixed rate
Each rate covers the car and driver, fuel, the commercial pickup fee the airport charges, and tolls on the route we quote. On arrivals the driver waits up to 45 minutes counted from the actual landing time. On departures the driver waits up to 15 minutes at your door. Help with bags at the car is part of the ride.
Anything extra is written into your quote before you confirm: waiting past the included time is $10 per 15 minutes, an extra stop is $15 per stop, and a child seat is $10 per seat per ride when the car company can supply one. Gratuity is optional and goes to the driver.
Sedan, SUV or van for your group
A carry-on for each rider fits in all three classes. Published figures start at $65 per car, one way, for a sedan from Zone 1, and the exact fixed rate for your ride is confirmed with you before you reserve. The full table sits on the pricing page.

Who handles each step of the ride
The desk in Raleigh takes your request, checks available dates and times with a car company in the Triangle, and sends back the rate, the vehicle class and the pickup time. When you confirm, the desk places the reservation with that company. Before the ride you receive the company's name and telephone number, the vehicle and the driver's first name.
The car company supplies the car and the driver and performs the ride. You pay it the fixed rate at the end of the ride, by card or cash in the car. The desk is paid by the car company for each ride it places, and nothing is paid on this website.
Routes between Triangle addresses and RDU
Every ride we reserve joins a home, hotel or office address in North Carolina with Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 on the day of the flight. Morrisville and Research Triangle Park are about 11 minutes from the Terminal 2 curb. Cary and Durham sit in Zone 2; Raleigh, Apex, Chapel Hill and Garner in Zone 3; Holly Springs, Knightdale and Wake Forest in Zone 4, up to 35 minutes out.
Each town has its own page with measured miles and minutes under service areas. For a ride within the next 12 hours, telephone the desk rather than using the form.

A fixed rate you see first
Every quote names the rate per car, one way, along with the vehicle class and the pickup time. If no car is free for your time, the desk tells you and you owe nothing.
