Out and back

Round trip RDU transfer, reserved in one request

Every round trip RDU transfer from our Raleigh desk begins with one request that names both flights. We answer with two plans: a door time for the ride out and a pickup for the ride home, each carrying its own fixed rate, vehicle class and car company. You confirm once, and both rides are placed with a car company in the Triangle.

Two legs on a single form

Give us your home or office address, the date and hour of your outbound flight, and the number and landing date of the flight that brings you back. The desk checks both dates with a car company and replies with a quote for each leg. Your reservation covers the pair, while each ride keeps its own details in the confirmation you receive.

  • Going out: a door time worked out from the drive minutes to RDU, a traffic allowance and the margin at the curb that suits you
  • Coming back: a pickup at your terminal's zone outside baggage claim once you have your bags
  • For both rides: the vehicle class, the fixed rate, and the car company's name and telephone number ahead of the ride

How the two rates add up

A round trip is priced as two one-way rates placed side by side. Nothing is taken off for reserving both directions at once, and nothing extra is added. From Cary, for example, a sedan starts at $79 per car, one way, and the ride back is priced the same way, so the pair is simply that figure twice. These figures are starting points; the exact fixed rate for each leg is confirmed with you before you reserve.

Each rate holds at any hour. You pay the car company at the end of each ride, by card or cash in the car, and nothing is paid on the website. Every zone and vehicle class is listed on the pricing page.

When the return flight moves

Plans for the trip home shift often. If your return flight moves to another day or hour, reply to your confirmation or telephone the desk with the new flight number. We recheck with the car company and send you an updated pickup. A change made before the car is dispatched costs nothing; dispatch happens 90 minutes before the scheduled time, or 3 hours ahead for vans.

A delay on the same flight needs no message at all. The flight number lets the car company follow the real landing time, and the 45 included minutes of waiting count from the moment you touch down. If the new pickup falls within the next 12 hours, telephone rather than writing.

Each leg stands on its own

Canceling one ride leaves the other in place. If you decide to drive yourself to RDU and keep only the ride home, tell us before dispatch and the outbound leg is released at no charge. The full terms sit on the cancellation policy page, and each direction is described in detail under rides to RDU and RDU arrivals.

Before you fly home

Keep your return flight number close

The ride home follows your flight number. If that flight changes, send the new number by replying to your confirmation, and the pickup moves with it at no charge before the car is dispatched.

Our telephone keeps the airport's clock: it is staffed every day from 4:00 am Eastern Time, ahead of the first departures, until the last scheduled arrival of the night is on the ground. For a pickup before 4:00 am, the car company's number in your confirmation reaches the driver's dispatcher. Requests sent through the website form are received 24/7.

A free quote with no obligation. The desk replies with the fixed rate before anything is reserved, and nothing is paid on this website. Sending a request accepts the terms for riders; the privacy policy explains how your details are handled.
